Your Coach:
I’m Désirée H. Young, your pitch and presentation coach. I started my company VentureWalk in 2004 to develop people and businesses by helping them connect their model, their message and their mission to the money. I’ve consulted businesses in over 27 different industries from winning pitch contestants to entrepreneurs that got their ideas fully funded to career professionals that successfully got their projects (and consequent move-up) approved. My clients have boasted increases in sales (sometimes as much as triple X’s), pitch contest wins and concepts being funded. As a pitch coach and facilitator for clients such as Capital One Bank and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, I help people who struggle to say what they do gain confidence and clarity in communicating why their ideas matter. But you don’t have to take my word for it, check out these videos from happy clients here.
After more than 10 years of experience, I’ve heard and seen the best of the best and the worst of the worst pitches. I’ve found that there is a formula to pitch like the pros and fund your idea, gain support and get people to buy (or buy-in). My goal is to help you be prepared for your next pitch opportunity and pitch to win, whether it’s a networking social, a sales meeting or an investment opportunity.
